Here at the Hare & Hounds we are under 1 mile away from the Charlton Park Crematorium. Given this we regularly host wakes on behalf of friends and families of their loved ones. We have a great deal of experience of organising wakes at short notice and are always happy to answer any questions you may have so please reach out to us via phone or email.

The most popular choice for wakes is our traditional buffet package at £10pp. This includes a classic buffet spread with a variety of options as well as free tea and coffee. Please feel free to reach out and request photos of previous spreads as we know it is plentiful and varied. We also accommodate custom requests in these buffets if there are allergies, preferences or food items that will help remember your loved one.

During wakes the bar is available and we offer tab options to pay upfront or post event for food and drink with no additional hire charge.

We can accommodate wakes during times when we are typically shut and peak hours so do not hesitate to ask for this and we will see how we can help.

We are happy for you to bring your own flowers / music / photos to display and anything else to help remember your loved ones and please bring any requests to the team when making your booking so everything can be in place on the day.
